As the holidays approach, the celebration of art continues. The past week has been buzzing with creativity, marked by the successful conclusion of two major events: the Visayas Art Fair 2024 and BODEGA Design Caravan.

BODEGA
In its third year, BODEGA Design Caravan once again put the spotlight on Cebu’s premier designers, showcasing their exceptional craftsmanship in furniture, home furnishings, fashion, and accessories.
Held from November 21 to 24, BODEGA went beyond being just a marketplace. The event featured a dynamic range of activities, including workshops, design talks, a fashion show, and the debut of the Food Artisan segment, which celebrated the intersection of culinary artistry and design.
These activities created a platform for showcasing real talent and passion in the fields of arts and design, making the event not only impactful but also deeply engaging for art enthusiasts and the general public alike.
Visayas Art Fair
Meanwhile, Visayas Art Fair 2024 celebrated the rich artistic talent of the Visayan region and its islands.
In its fourth edition, under the theme of “Artistic Diversity,” VAF continued its mission of highlighting the growth and development of Visayan art. The fair embraced the unique perspectives of regional artists, offering a broad array of artistic expressions—from traditional paintings to contemporary installations, and everything in between.
With interactive exhibits, workshops, and diverse art forms, VAF proved to be an immersive experience for art lovers of all tastes. The fair blurred the lines between traditional and modern art, creating a space for dialogue and experimentation.
